Mural Up High

Just finished another mural that I thought was pretty unique. As you can see, it sits above the windows in this living room. Since it is up high, and the viewer is much lower, I wanted to treat it more like a painting than a mural. When painting a mural, I try to keep the perspective vanishing point at about the viewers eye level, or as close as is possible. In this case, there was no opportunity to do that, so "framing" it as a painting seemed like the right thing to do. I also wanted to accent the scrolls to become part of the "frame".
