Sunday Art Show

Getting ready to tear down the "store". So, so sales wise. Guess I
better stick to the murals and faux finishes. But it is fun, hanging
out and complaining about the economy with the other folks. And about
the customers and their characteristics.

How did the plein air pastel painting day go?

Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Guess the painting-a-day at the art show will have to be the substitute. But I will try again. Need to refresh my memory so my paintings don't start looking all alike.

...if we all equated success purely on sales we'd get discouraged. Looks like you put together a really nice presentation.

Thanks. Still trying to "invent" or "re-invent" the art sales thing. Scheduled for another show mid August at the lake, so I'm considering cutting down to two areas; Lake Tahoe and Old World (Tuscany and Spain). Bring in more prints and cards. Still have some originals. No nudes, intagilos (unless I do some of Tahoe), no photos, no wine bottle paintings (unless they're Tuscan.

bullw....I read your bio and realized that we had similar careers...I too was a graphic artist prior to the computer. Remember those pantone markers? haha... It is so funny, we had boxes and boxes of pantone markers.
I am glad you are painting..and I agree with you that your subject matter should be carefully considered. keep up the good work!
